About
Odi Ingram
Olivia “Odi” Ingram (he/they) is an attorney committed to fairness, protection, and making the law accessible to those required to navigate it. He believes the law is often difficult to understand, leaving people feeling excluded or overwhelmed, and he sees his role as a translator, strategist, and steady advocate.
Growing up with economic instability and complex family dynamics shaped Odi’s commitment to safety and stability, especially for children. As a child, he did not always feel heard. Today, he ensures his clients are. Odi believes children deserve to be taken seriously, families deserve security, and no one should feel powerless when navigating their own case.
Odi’s work centers on family law, injunction proceedings, Title IX matters, criminal defense, and juvenile cases. They also advise individuals who are being sued, considering filing suit, or navigating complex decisions involving probate and bankruptcy. Odi has negotiated debt collection matters, handled adult expungements, and worked closely with human trafficking survivors and victims of violence. They are particularly driven by cases involving the safety and well-being of children and individuals facing abuse or exploitation.
Prior to entering private practice, Odi served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Second Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office. In that role, he represented children facing the full criminal spectrum, from misdemeanor charges such as battery to serious felony allegations including manslaughter, and completed appellate work challenging criminal convictions. Odi strongly believes in the foundational principle that every person is presumed innocent until proven guilty and deserves ethical, skilled representation.
Odi has also worked with Legal Services of North Florida, where they assisted individuals navigating family law matters, consumer-related disputes, probate matters, and Title IX disputes. Earlier in their career, Odi gained experience through positions with the Florida State University College of Law Public Interest Law Center, the Capital Appeals Project in New Orleans, and the Florida Department of Commerce (formerly the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity), where they worked within the Office of Appeals supporting administrative appeals and legal review.
A litigator by nature, Odi values strategy over theatrics. He does not engage in courtroom showmanship or mirror unprofessional conduct. Clients can expect honesty, preparation, and principled advocacy focused on results and long-term stability. Odi believes dignity is not conditional. They represent individuals and families across identities and life circumstances, including those navigating discrimination, prior system involvement, or deeply personal legal challenges. Odi is committed to building a practice that is accessible, community-centered, and grounded in both lived insight and strong advocacy. In addition to his legal work, Odi has served as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem advocating for children's best interests in court proceedings.
Odi earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, cum laude, from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and is a member of the The Florida Bar.
Odi lives in North Florida with his partner and their two cats. Outside of their legal work, they enjoy traveling, cooking, gardening, and volunteering in the community.
